Smeeth sandpit Preservation Ltd owns the Sandpit at Smeeth.
It has approximately 120 family and individual shareholders. It was formed to purchase the 15.5 acre former sandpit as there was real concern that, as a brownfield site, it could be used and developed in way that would have been detrimental to the area and the environment.
We are now planning how to make most effective use of this great local asset and would welcome your ideas and contributions.
